Join the Irish Whiskey Experiences team for a day of spectacular single malts at the Giant of Irish whiskey, the Old Bushmills Distillery.

The Causeway Coastal Route, beginning in Belfast and finishing in Derry is a journey lined with ancient castles, towering cliffs, wild coastlines and stunning scenery spanning 115 miles, but most importantly it is home to the oldest licensed distillery in the world – Bushmills.

We’ll be going behind the scenes of the Causeway Distillery, named after the nearby UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Giant’s Causeway, which officially opened in April 2023, enabling Bushmills to more than double their production capacity to approximately 11 million litres per year, solely producing their award-winning single malt whiskey.

Not only will we have behind the scenes access to this engineering marvel, we’ll meet the woman who helped bring the project to life, Master Blender Alex Thomas, as well as sipping on several stunning single malts.

We’ll enjoy a x2 course lunch at the iconic Bushmills Inn before heading to the Giant’s Causeway for a ‘whiskey on the rocks’ – literally. We heard if you say ‘Bushmills’ x3 times a special pour appears from the rocks…
